About Us

As the name suggests, at the Computer Systems Lab (CSL) we delve into research in the area of computer systems.

This research spans the layers of the computing stack, from microarchitectural design, all the way to operating systems. These can involve optimizations at both hardware (storage, memory, processing) and software (OS, compilers, HLL) domains. Our broad goals are to make computing systems faster, cheaper, and easier to use.

Current work revolves around performance and security of serverless computing, persistent memory, gpus and virtual memory.
